Which soundcard?

hey all. im planning on getting logitech z 5300 speakers and i want to upgrade my soundcard. i use a laptop at school and i have a desktop at home so im planning on buying an external soundcard so that i can use the speakers with both systems. any recommendations??

i was originally thinking about getting creative's sound blaster audigy live, or the nx but i heard audigy nx has a lot of problems.

edit: also what is the diffbetween z5300 and z5300e? just color?

I'd look at the zs, it'll make the logitech's worth buying for the fidelity of both card and speakers

he seems to like his nx, but I've never used external so if you've read bad reviews, maybe you should stay away from them
