Which to choose for older computer..Win98se or Windows 2000?

I think 2000 requires a P166 with 64M RAM... It should run on that machine, but you'd probably be much better off with 98SE.

probably 98. its still now, seems to be used a lot by companies. and seem to win users choice of reliability. and seeing what you have, your probably better with 98 anyway.
 
Only install windows 2000 if the computer needs to be hooked up to a server thats running windows 2000 or later, if it doesnt, then get windows 98.
 
You have considered Win 2000. Why don't you upgrade the computer (thats if you have the time and the money). You could get more out of it in the long run.

You can connect 98 to a sever just install dsclient.
