Which upgrade would have the most increase in performance for my PC??

I was thinking CPU or an SSD.

My system:
Evga 730i/9300 motherboard
Intel Pentium Dual Core E2160 oc'd at 3.4GHz(stock is 1.8GHz)
Seagate Barracuda 250gb 7200rpm
3gb ram oc'd at 854MHz
my OS is vista 32bit home premium


My Pentium Dual Core E2160 is rated 1620.4 on passmark v6.1 CPU benchmark
My Seagate 250gb is rated at 80mb/sec sequential read and 67.9mb/sec sequential write and overall is 545.6 by passmark v6.1



What i would want:

SSD: OCZ Vertex 2
CPU: Core 2 quad 9550

so what CPU or SSD??

*all benchmarks are passmark performance test v6.1

also im on a budget of 200$ so i chose the products based on my budget

A Q9300 would more than double your PassMark score at 3,557 and IMO would be a more noticable upgrade. You don't list you graphics or your primary use of the computer though.

i listed my graphics, integrated 9300 geforce. my use for the computer is 20% internet and 70% medium multi tasking and 10% gaming/other.
for my cpu i want the q9550.
also the ssd is about 200mb/sec faster than my current drive.
 
The 9550 is currently $279 at Newegg. That's a lot of money for a socket 775 upgrade that you can't take to your next build, which, it appears, you could be due for anytime. While I don't think an SSD will have the impact that a 9550 will, I would rather spend money on something that might be used in a future build. I'd go with an Intel X-25M 80 GB for $220. Load times will be much faster.

haha new egg is amazingly overpriced. im talking about micro center!! its $180 there!!
