which video card is better for gaming?

I was just wondering out of geforce gtx 295 and geforce 9800 gtx+, which is more powerful for gaming.

The 9800GTX+ is a very good card for gaming, but the GTX295 completely wipes the floor with it.

Personally I find the 9800GTX+ to be sufficient, but it depends what you play and what your budget is.

doesnt really show real world performance though, or we would never have reviews and benchmarks.
