Which video card is better?

ATI Radeon™ HD 4850

Nvidia GTX 280/260 or the 9600/9800

Do any of you know what kind of NVIDIA GeForce FX series are not supported under windows???

SO yeah any help would be appreciated:confused:...also which card could best run spore, command and conquer and crysis
 
280>4850>260>9800>9600.
The FX series not supported are pretty old, generally AGP cards, like FX5200 series, etc.
I'd get the 4850 for a price/power wise, but the 260 if you're planning on F@H.
 
Do you know the difference between the geforce 280 and 260?

as for the 4850 could that run crysis and if so on what settings?
 
The GTX 280 and 260 are the same line of nVidia cards, the 280 is better, comparable to the ATI 4870, but also costs more.
The 4850 (with a QX9650 @ 4ghz) gets 35fps @ 1680x1050 on all high setting, no AA.
I run the resolution a little lower and toss some AA in there, but AA in Crysis rapes cards, and favors nVidia (Crysis does, other games will see the 4850>gtx260 or equal)

Also - if you do want a graphics card, I'm selling my 4850, so you can pick it up for $105 shipped in the original box w/ original cords and all that. The lowest is $130 + shipping @ Newegg.
