Looking at possibly buying one of the two below items. Which of the following would make my system more Windows Vista 32-bit capable?

EVGA 256-P2-N751-TR GeForce 8600GT Video Card

AMD Opteron 180 (2.4 gigahertz) Socket 939 Dual-Core Processor

The Opteron is essentially more of a server type model there with the Opty 165 the big ocer in that line while the 185 sees the fastest stock speed. Upgrading to an X2 plus a newer card would be the better move for seeing support for Vista and the card last while many are waiting for 9800s. But a newer card is the main thing there.

No surprise since those were scheduled to be out around the time the Radeon 3800s were coming out to compete with each other there. Often retail chains will want to be the first to have something new anyways to draw the business in.
