OK from what I heard the best of the two major brands of GPU are the GeForce 7950 x2 And in the other corner is the ATI X1950XTX. To me The GeForce is like the brand name RAM and ATI is like the value RAM of the GPU world. Both work good, and have about no differences except cost (in most cases). But I'll let you guys decide, Would you like the ATI X1950XTX or the GeForce 7950?
 
Uh...well actually..you got to take into account the 7950 is 2 cards in 1 basically and the X1950XTX isn't...and the 7950GX2 is alot more expensive then the X1950XTX..so really eh.And ATI has produced many cards that beat Nvidias cards...i actually think more so ATI is the brand name and Nvidia is the value card.I'm an Nvidia fanboy at heart but i cannot bash on ATI,im using them right now because they had a better deal for me than Nvidia.But Nvidia has also outdone ATI too,its really just a race that will never end with graphic cards,they'll come out with better and better every time.And right now ATI cards are able to have 2 things on at once while an Nvidia card cant,forget the settings but its a bonus with ATI.
 
Well I am only doing this because me growing budget seems to be opening a world of opportunities, and hay, I might even go with a $300-$400 dollar GPU. and hay if things keep going like this I MAY (not sure yet) go with SLI. But only in the future. For now research must be done.
