I am building a computer to sell (gaming computer) and I was wondering which OS should I put on it XP Professional or XP Home (or you can suggest others).

According to newegg, here are the prices:
Windows XP Home: $83
Windows XP Media Center 2005: $110
Windows XP Professional: $138

If I were you, I would include Windows XP Media Center, since it has alot more features than XP Home, including some found in XP Pro. It's also a big bonus for those who are going to use your computer for alot of multimedia things (movies, photos, music, ect).

EDIT: If your selling this online, such as eBay, I would advertise it as just Windows XP, then in the description give them the option to upgrade to MCE or Pro for whatever difference it costs to you.

but its so expensive, your killin me. ok, but would you buy a computer if it only had home on it?

Sure. You need to make a target for your computers. Are you trying to get the people who could build their own pc, yet the choose not to because they are lazy? Or do you want to choose the person who does not know how, and basically only knows what the hardware installed means? It hink the second would be best, so WinXp Home is the bext bet. But as Omega pointed out MS is a good choice also.
