Who has an XFX GeForce 7900 w/ LCD monitor?

I've already found one other person who has had the same issue, using a nearly identical card.

Is there anyone else here who has had problems displaying a digital image with an LCD screen while using an XFX GeForce 7900 series card?

That must be me. I have only had that problem once at my friend's place since ALL my own monitors are CRT.

Well I figured out how to solve it...sorta.

If you ever end up getting a digital monitor or something, what worked for me was to hook up my old CRT monitor using a VGA adapter, as well as my LCD monitor using the DVI cable. Once I did that it was able to detect both monitors and I was able to change setting until the digital display finally turned on. After that I was able to reboot using only the digital display.

I'm not sure why it wouldn't let me change any options with only the LCD in the first place, but oh well.

Oh, and it is still really slow about displaying the image. It's not usually an issue, but I don't see anything until Windows fully loads. This might be a problem if I ever have to change BIOS settings.
