omega doesn't have a crossfire settup..

Yeah, I know. I'm saying that the Radeon 2900XT is often disregarded, when, in fact, it appears to be quite powerful. Omega's score, and the world record holder's score, are a few examples.

No. According to Futuremark, my score is somewhere in the middle. The highest being 16757 for my configuration.



Remember that the 3DMark06 world record holder ran the same card Omega owns Crossfired. Omega has a bad-ass rig, IMO. CF, perhaps in a poll, should decide who has "the best."

I'm runnin' the best hardware (spent the most money ). That's a fact. If 3DMark06 scores are heavily weighted, then freestylingford is among the best. He has the highest score at CF, currently. MatrixEVO also has an awesome score.

Honestly, I could care less. I think it's a great idea to have a poll to give credit to the member with the best rig. However, I'm generally a pretty humble person and didn't build this rig to "pwn" those younger than myself that haven't even gained the education that would allow them to afford this type of expense.

What sucks is the DDR3 part. He's probably better off with DDR2 right now. The latencies are too high to be a worthwhile upgrade. Although it is a bit faster, that does not justify the price.
