OK this is what bugs me, these little adds that say "shoot the something, or fill out this form to win a something. Who actually believes this stuff any way?

Most of them are scams but some are real after doing like 20 promotional things. I just like to play the games, they are sometimes fun.

I used to play them whenever I was bored in class, then I would sign up my friend for all the spam.

i got one where it says ive won a cruise worth thousands of £'s...

was a free number to ring up, so i did...

after 30mins of answering questions she turned around and said that they only paid half the cost and i had to pay the other which was thousands £'s.
she started to get all pushy tryin to get me to give her my address to post the papers out.

kinda got agrivated and told her to """go put her bottom lip over her forhead and swallow herself""

:D

The only one i followed through was the "click here to see what happened" on those funny videos. Went through pages after pages of surveys. Answered a bunch of "yes or no's", took me about 10 minutes to get through it all, but finally got to the video. It was worth it :D

I've actually read somewhere that some are legit, as long as you fullfill the requirements and what not, they sometimes send free stuff to you.

Actually, alot of them are true.

However in order for you to actually get the prize, you need to sign up for a variety of other services for a certain length of time, which can end up costing alot more then the free product is worth. They also send you tons of spam via e-mail and snail mail, not to mention that it would takes months after you complete it for you to receive it.

All of them are true to a certain extent, or else they would all be getting sued for false advertisement. You jsut have to read the small print once you click, it tells you exactly what happens in there, but how many people actully read the 10,000 word essay that is the EULA or T&C's, almost none.

I still dont complete any of them, i just shoot the ducks for fun.
