Truth fears no questions
I am a software architect, software developer and software tester. I also write documentation and help with software installations and support.

I have been doing this professionally for 15 months! :D ..it is amazing how much I have learned (on the job) in such a short period of time.

I've been in computers for 18 years. I have programmed in basic and assembly language, studied binary and computer electronics in college, taught computers to students grade 4-8 including special ed, done tech support, worked for computer stores, done web development, run chatrooms and communities with forums, etc. Currently I run my own business doing IT, tech support, hardware and software sales, service and installations. I do virus/spyware/adware removal, networking etc. My business encompasses servers, workstations, desktops, laptops, printers, photocopiers, RIPs, UPS'. I sell and service new and used equipment.

In my office my personal playtoy is a file/FTP/fax server, DHCP/DNS/AD server, both running W2K Advanced Server, a firewall running smoothwall, 2 P4 workstations (running Win XP and Vista), a printer server running W2K, a laptop running Win XP, a Bay Networks 16 port switch, a Linksys wireless router, an HP Officejet multifunction, a Lexmark laser printer, an HP Scanjet pagefeed scanner, an HP Color Laserjet network printer and a Lexmark Optra 3 tray network laser printer, along with an Expressvu satellite receiver, an APC UPS and 2 Powerware Prestige UPS'. I use these as my tools to learn more.
