Who is spying on me?

Hi!

First of all I want to say that I'm no smartass yet when it comes to computers, so excuse me when it sounds a bit goofy. :o
The problem is is that I think I'm being spyed by someone I know, that recently used my computer. Now Ad-aware recognised my MRU lists being spyed. Secretmaker recognised my privacy being harassed. Now I want to know if it's that certain person I have in mind. :mad: Is there some kind of programm that can track down the person's identity, IP or residence or something else? I know the first (eight) numbers of his IP.
And how can I protect myself from him or others tracking down my activities?

Mru's are not a critical security threat. I suggest you go through the steps in the sticky, and if everything comes up clean, then your probably ok. If by some chance, that person installed a keylogger or something, the scans should pick it up. Please be sure to do all 4 scans (may take a while). I've never heard of secretmaker, and can't vouche for it's legitimacy nor effectivness.

Edit: oh, and you will want to download/install a good firewall to protect yourself from that type of activity as well.
