i'll obtain it sooner or later, maybe when it first comes out, i was going to have osx but then it would'nt work

When you say obtain, i hope you mean your going to buy it at a store ;)

no, by obtain i meant i would get it as a gift, what do you take me for geoff, someone who doesn't care about the law ;)
 
I've played around with the beta version of vista and to tell you the truth, it sucks. Some of the features are kinda cool but most of them are just plain annoying. I'm sticking with XP.

I dont think most of the features are in the Beta version yet, and there going to do alot of changing around before it actually ships (around a year from now). Somethings look too confusing, but i will probably end up having to get it since most new games are only going to be able to run on Vista.

same here I guess. I'll stick with XP for a while but once XP goes out of style I'll end up getting Vista.

Im not gonna be getting it for the following reasons:

*Expensive

*Vista will be system resources hungry.

Im thinking about having my next computer custom built for gaming and i heard that Vista will need some 800Mb to run:eek:
Maybe im wrong but that is power hungry.

I want as much free ram when i get my new pc because ive always run into memory problems with past computers so i will probably just get Windows Xp pro or Media centre.

I think ill get vista, just because it will be so pretty :P but- I wouldnt recommend getting WinXP Media Center, as it sucks for games.

The same can be said about XP. But thats what the tweaking is for. ;)

well when first released i would say about £150 dunno about $

but after a few months it will go down to the same as xp pro

but no 1 will buy it as it is **** so i recon pennies, lol

because i heard that windows vista is much better than xp, but xp is more reliable and compatible than any other o/s!!!
correct me if i'm wrong!!!!
but i'm sure that vista will have many improveents from microsoft because it is their new o/s!!!
