wholesale prices

Hi everyone,
me and my friend are looking into starting a custom computer business where people can tell us the exact specs that they want and we will build them the computer and sell it to them. But before we do anything with it we need a good place where we can get wholesale prices on computer parts and stuff. Or else we would make no profit. If anyone knows any good wholesale computer websites please reply. thanks

You could try contacting newegg.com and see if they'll give you some kind of price break, or you could go to some local computer stores and see what they can do for you.

If you look around, Newegg does sometimes cut breaks with certain items with large purchases(like 20+) But if you decide to purchase many different items, you might get cuts with most anything...

I'm not sure of any whole sale places, though... Though, when I worked at a computer shop in Charlotte, we would always get stuff from this one place. I never asked what the prices were, though...

It isn't that hard. You have to look in surrounding cities for wholesalers, but you do have to know where to look. Maybe Google it. They do exist. I have quite a few of them that supply me. They are more than happy to have your business, believe me. I'm not sure about the States, but you will more than likely need a vendor's permit first, and all applicable tax registrations. They just operate out of warehouses chock full of goodies and it doesn't matter if you buy one thing or a dozen things. Up here they are mostly in Markham in the industrial section of town, all run by the Chinese.

I buy everything, either for myself or my clients, at wholesale.

SirKenin is right. I was looking into buying wholesale products, and becoming a reseller on ebay. But you have to purchase very large quantities (thousands) to get a good discount. You also need to a reseller license.
