Why are SSDs so Expensive?

What is your budget friend? Some of the better SSD are $200-$250.

Well 2 of the top SSD that I have seen so far are these. A lot of people argue which one is better. Personally most the Intel arguments I have heard sounded more fan boy but I don't think you can lose with either one of them.
