Why Asus been so difficult?!

Hi all,
Why Asus been so difficult? I just open the new Asus g53s laptop. Try to add the new ssd. only to find out I have to take up the keyboard and the top pieces and unscrew few more screws before I can get to the bottom to add the ssd.
Why can't they like the other manufacture just put a few screws at the bottom and done. I don't think I am going to buy another this laptop.
Cheers.

they do that #1 to keep inexperienced people out of the laptop, and #2 to make sure that you are not tampering with the internals.
Im not sure with asus, but with most laptop brands, if you open the case any farther than the RAM/HDD cover, you have voided your warranty.

and, its not so difficult. On my HP G61, I had it tore apart and reassembled in less than 30 minutes to replace the CPU fan earlier.

All the other laptops I own before include one of the asus, they just open few screws at the bottom, I don't know why they need to do these for this particular laptop.
Cheers

That's pretty retarded, HDD and RAM swap in a laptop should be easy peasy. It's like Acer making you take their entire netbook apart just to add some ram. If anything it's a reason for me NOT to buy it.

I don't know what is wrong. I still can't get the SSD to boot. it will format and copy files, but I can't install windows 7 on it. I try partition copy and clean installation all failed.
I almost damaged the laptop try to install the hard drive. right now I think one of the screws is drop inside the laptop and I can't find it. it become like a time bomb, it will short out something one of these days.
I hate this design. I won't buy another one like this again.
Also the I7 and the top of the line thing is over rated, it doesn't seem so fast as the people talk about, I still have to wait for pages to show up and programs to load. what happen to the lightening fast you guys are talking about??:D
Cheers.

you want the truth. Its a Clevo design and all of theirs is like that.

is pretty close to the average setup.

That design wasn't bad!! It is on the back. The asus I am talking about is you have to take out the keyboard and the handrest, screw off about 7 screws, then turn over to force open the back, then get to the hard drive and the ram. you actually have to disassemble half of the laptop to get to the hard drive on the back. why can't they just put some screws on the back like the others do, Stupid design.
cheers.

And the last straw for Gloria; her friend Serena dares to eat macaroni and cheese in front of her. Gloria is outraged! "The most disgusting part about the whole day is Serena just sitting there, eating food." Apparently, Gloria had put Serena on a diet, along with all her other bridesmaids. "I need you to lose five pounds before the wedding," she says. If her bridesmaids can't lose that much weight, then they shouldn't even bother showing up, Gloria adds.
