why ATI over Nvidia?

i'm no fanboy. i have owned an ATI X800GTO, then an NVidia 8500GT, and now an NVidia 8800GT. but my next card will be either an ATI 4850 or 4870. why? because after rebates you can get a 4850 for $120 which is AWESOME.

so sure. i am on the bandwagon. but this card doesnt take much power, it doesnt overheat (if you know how to fking use ATITool) and once again, it costs as little as $120, $80 less than i spent for my 8800GT just a little while back.

I agree 4870 is my next upgrade from my 8800GT bang for buck ATI is kicking ass and chewing bubble gum.

I love my Nvidia 9600GT. For the price, it has delivered.

But my next card will be ATI, probably a 4850 when it comes down in price a bit (I want a 1 GB version). Why? Because Nvidia costs more, and my mobo only supports Crossfire. Simple as that. =P
