I have been looking at both MSI and Asus. So they both have a dependable build quality ?Samsung isn't exactly a prolific company when it comes to notebooks, my guess is they don't sell alot of them and thus no reviews, except on tech websites.
The specs on that are pretty generic, I would suggest you look at more commonly purchased brands like Asus, MSI, Acer, or DELL

Thanks. So in your opinion, what's a good model (either MSI or Asus) to go with for around $800 ?They are all I ever go with.

How about the RAM. DDR3 or 4 ?http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16834154111
This is also a good base for your laptop needs. With a tight budget, you should be looking at getting the best hardware that cannot be upgraded later on. So a good processor and video card is the spec you shouldn't be cheaping out on right now. Ram can be upgraded later on along with harddrives. The laptop itself can support up to 32gb of ram and a m.2 sata ssd when you want to.
You should go to one and see what sort of deals they have in-store. They normally have insane sales.Yeah, about 30 min. away
That MSI laptop should be running DDR4.How about the RAM. DDR3 or 4 ?
