Why Can't I Use Outlook Al My Default Mail Server

When I open Outlook and it asks if I want it as my default mail server, it will not let it happen. It says it cannot open the address book. Does this have anything to do with trying to run it with Vista? Right now I'm using Window Mail because I cannot use the Outlook.

or did you mean to say default mail client ? if there's more than 2 Mail client (outlook,windows mail) one has to be the default.
If you usually use outlook then you shud have said yes, so this will put windows mail as secondary.

To stop this, go to Control panel-->internet options->"Programs" tab, and set whatever client you use as default.
