Why can't I watch YouTube videos in full screen with Chrome anymore?

Lately when I try to view YouTube videos in full screen with Chrome, it only makes the video as big as if I had chosen the "Large Player" option and puts this image in the upper left corner of the screen. The rest of the screen is just filled with black, and the message "YouTube is now full screen. Exit full screen (ESC)" stays at the top. Every now and then some videos will fully expand, but most of the time they don't.

I can view full screen videos with Firefox, so it seems something has changed recently in Chrome. Anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks.

Try reinstalling chrome, I have it, and that normally works for me.

Works fine for me. Got a screenshot of what's happening?

Well dang it if everything I'm trying now is actually working, even some videos that *were* a problem earlier! If it happens again, I'll take a screen shot, but so far it seems to be working normally again. I guess I just need to post my question to get things to magically resolve themselves. :)
