Why cant you find crts anymore?

because my friend has one and he knocks it over all the time, pixels are fading out. i actually found through reading that crts are still better
 
I guess it's "fragile" because your friend keeps on knocking it down. I'm sure you'd think the same if he kept on knocking down a CRT. It's now getting to a point where LCDs are becoming better than CRTs.
 
it's like "why can't i find 7800gt's anymore", cause there's the 7900gt. Because LCD's are lighter, better for your eyes, and alot more compact.
 
I can find them in almost any actuall Retail store, many online places dont ship them because they are heavy. I still prefer the looks of CRT on the screen myself, As long as the refresh rate is 70mhz or above.

not lcds and crt are two different things, unlike your example where they jus came out with a newer model.

yeah, i was just trying to make the point that newer technolodgy will overtake old ones eventually :P
