Why can't you use the PC's headphone jackwith Samson Go mic?

Or maybe you can, and i haven't figure out how. It makes no sense. As soon as you plug in the mic, you lose all audio unless you plug your headphones or speakers into the mic's headphone socket. The mic has great sound quality for the price, but plugging your headphones into the mic, results in pretty poor sound quality

You can. You just need to set your default playback device to your on-board sound card instead of Samson Go Mic.
