Why choose widescreen over normal LCD?

the computer goes ape#*!(@ if i don't disable the secondary monitors while playing certain games, tho

i only have x1300, and my secondary monitors are on a PCI card.....

Hopefully once the q6600 drops to $550, i'm gonna get a new motherboard with two pci-express slots, so i can run all 3 monitors on pci-e cards

Well, there's our solution.

CF is equally compatable with both traditional and widescreen monitors, so this is a bogus debate

im goin from a regular 19" to a 22" widescreen. im thinking thats a pretty good bump up. weather you like WS or not

I agree about the 19" regular being better than 19" wide but once you get in to the 1600+ resolutions with 20"+ monitors, I'd say widescreen looks amazing.

So basically, we're saying that it's best to get either a 19" regular or a 20" widescreen, right? 19" widescreen are a bit too small?

Yeah, basically, if you want a widescreen go for the size above the normal screen you would be getting.

As long as you get something over 20" with widescreen, I'd consider that to be good.

I choose the widescreen display for these reasons:

1. You can watch a movie on it, and it's feels very comfortable.
2. For gaming it's awsome.
3. For Web Designing I heard it's really cool.
