Why does everyone hate windows Vista?

we don't hate windows vista, we just don't feel comfortable with it due to many hardware and devices are not supported, for an OS it disappointed many people (mass market).
Vista is a good OS though it will improve with time and service packs.
Other member opinion may vary

my computer always freezes when it sleeps (XP) so I never use sleep mode, I just turn the darn thing off.
The only thing I don't like about Vista is the new Windows Explorer (which I use alot) and file searching. I suppose I could copy the XP Windows Explorer file over to Vista, but I shouldn't have to.
