I make the primary dos partition as 10GB and then I formated the HDD when I installed Win 98SE it said free space was 74GB which is the size of the HDD so I installed Win 98SE and it worked fine as the hole drive as one partition so I guess it was just FDISK but windows 98SE recognizes it just fine
u need to enable large disk support then you can go up to 137gb. and if u use the drivers provided is a retail drive you can unlock all the spaces and dont have to make many partitions.
However, when you're formating in DOS using the format command it will still say 10 gigs or so, but when you get done formating it should be the correct size anyway.
