Why Does My Computer Keep Freezing Up

I have a fairly good desktop computer, but since I first got it, it eventually freezes up after being on it for a while. I think it might be because I don't have the fastest processor, but I'm not entirely sure. Here are some of the specs.
OS: Windows 10
Processor: intel core i5-6400 @2.70GHz
Memory 12 GB RAM
Hard Drive: 2TB

If you need more specs just let me know and I'll post them.

That shouldn't happen.

I'd return it to the vendor if you still can, at least for a like replacement. You might be able to run something like Memtest86+ in order to more support your argument if a bunch of errors show up.

You're right and this shouldn't be happening. My dad has a similar computer for photo editing and his doesn't do that. However I can't see returning the computer since I had the graphics updated and other than that it is a good computer.

It has a warranty, I would definitely get it checked out. Freezing up could be a bad hard drive or ram issue or just a bad software is installed. Did you install any weird programs?

You should be able to put the old card in (or take your existing one out if it was just integrated) and then return. Adding expansion cards to your PC shouldn't be a warranty voider.

Do you get the same freezing in the pre-upgraded setup?
