After much thought about which anti-virus software to upgrade when my McAfee expired i aventually landed with a home user unknown called 'Kaspersky' , i never came across this in any of the high street pc shops yet it gets massive reviews online. any one any ideas about why we dont see such a great product on the shelves in the shops ??

i dont know about the shop thing but i do know you have to use it...love it marry it..lol..or maybe it's commercial right ?....there's this other also called AVIRA antivir i cannot find it anywhere !!

I did look into AVG at the same time and that to got good reviews but it just came to the toss of a coin between the two. The main thing is that it doesn't use the kind of memory resources that nortons and Mcafee does.

Well, you can't do better than Avast! really, because it offers more protection than any of it's competitors, but for paid antivirs there is always Panda, and it's a smoking program. You can find people that sell that. I sell it.

if u wanna know about the best AV solution go to "www.toptenreviews.com " and check it out.so u think avg is better than kaspersky ...duh think again !!

Personally i agree with sirkenin.i would choose between Panda AV,Kasperky and Bitdefender !!.....i dunno bout you guys...

If you want Kaspersky i recommend getting system mechanic pro, as this comes with Kaspersky Anti-Virus and Kaspersky Anti-Hacker alond with a good tool for improving your computers speed

norton was the biggest piece of shite ive ever used. it wanted to update every 5 mins and it kept freezing in the process. not to mention it costs a bomb

That place is rubbish, it's got McAfee and Norton in the top 3.

All those reviews are sold out crap. I agree. I tried the programs for myself on a very deadly website, like I said before, and Avast! was the only one that actually prevented the threats from coming onto the computer. So naturally I don't believe a word those websites say.
