Why is Chrome so slow for me?

Here's a speedtest.net result in Mozilla [IE is pretty much identical too].

Here's the result in Chrome.

Notice the ping difference.....
Now the download speed isn't too far off, but, it jitters up an down while it's doing the test - goes down to 4-5 an spikes back up then goes back down etc etc until it finishes, same with the upload.

What's with this?
 
Jealous that you got Fios, they don't offer it in my area - I'd be on it with the quickness if they did.

But yeah I even reinstalled Chrome and got the same results, I don't get it.
 
Lol, maybe it was the settings on Chrome, maybe you changed something.
I should be getting a lot higher upload because I'm on the highest package.
 
Definitely don't think I touched anything in Chrome, I don't even use it - the only reason I'm currently using it at the moment is because Firefox sucks on MySpace right now with them dots showing up before every comment you post.

4 up is quite a bit man, haha - how much are you supposed to get?
 
I do have a 2 years license to AVG Internet Security, but after i reformatted i just use malwarebytes once a week.

As for your chrome issues, I'd try reinstalling it.
 
Chrome doesn't like me, when ever I click in the URL bar, and type one letter, the browser crashes. People told me to clear my cache that did nothing.
