Why is my computer running so slow?

I just bought a brand new computer from Best Buy.

Here is the performance from Task Manager.

Can this brand new computer really not do what I need it to do?

Do I need some sort of super computer to run 10 tabs in the browser, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Earth, and probably a few other things all at the same time?

What speed of CPU and how much RAM would I need to do this?

Which specific PC did you buy?

Usually you aren't going to have the best time on the cheapest one they sell.

Stop using Edge browser for one. Also looks like you got a problem with print spooler using cpu.

But from that image, it looks like you bought a cheap system.

One of the reasons that could slow down your PC is too many programs in your computer is running and you don't have enough RAM. In some cases, you may have also a virus or a very low hard drive space. It really depends. You may restart for a while. It might help.

go into task manager and see how many programs you have running at startup.you can disable most of them.keep your antivirus running at startup tho.as well you probably have a lot of bloatware (programs you dont need) installed.
