i don't know why, but when i first turned on my computer, the temperature of my cpu was 40C

i found it very hot, well to start ocing it.

i have oced the CPU Frequency from [200] to [203] makes up 1.83Ghz...
Right after i ran 3D Makr, the temperature rose up to 46C... i don't know if i can go any farther

Do you have good case fans, or enough of them? You say your computers new, so i dont think dust would be a problem, but i would try organizing the cables for better airflow, and i would also consider buying AS5 and a new heatsink/fan for your cpu.

i bought a cpu fan, CNPS7000B-AlCu LED for $50 CAN. i thought that would be good enough...
ifor my case, i have front fan, back fan, side fan.
well 2 of psu fan, 2 for my hard drive
and of course Cpu fan...
oh ya the graphic card have some fan too.

I remember from your previous thread, that you had a temp of ~26C, and now that you oc'd to 1.83Ghz its ~46C? If so, there is deffinetly something wrong with that.

here i will quote myself...

well it was 26C or 27C, the day before, but now even before i oced my cpu, the temperature was 40C.
and when i actually oced my cpu and ran 3D mark, the temperature got up to 46C, Max though.
well, when i am just typing something like now, the temperature is only 40C.

I was the one who re applied charles lee's cpu heatsink. It appears at first he put on too much thermal paste...after taking it off and re-appying it, we saw a the temp lower by about 5 degrees. It was only 27 degrees for a very short period of time and soon after boot up it was back at 35-37. The only thing i can think of thats causing the problem is that the heatsink doesnt seem to be tight enough and the thermal compound is shit. Im also going to check and make sure all the fans are intaking air in the right direction later on today.

Hmm

I think the main problem is the sheer weight of the HSF. It results in this:

Notice the gap. That's what I would bet is your problem. Just to make sure, lay your case sideways and start up the PC. I would bet the temps will be better. You may need to install something that would keep the HSF from creating the problem such as using a wire to attach it to the top of the case or something.

yea, make sure its on the cpu. also, you may get rising temps if you take the heatsink off and reapply it... it contaminates the thermal compound.

also, make sure the fan is turning and no wires are in the way... that rose my idles temps by 10c idle, and by like 30c load... of course that was my video card.

That's what many people who are aware of this do.
