This laptop (HP 2000 Notebook)says "not responding" from time to time and I don't know why. I have run an Avast scan, Malware, JRT, and all the other recommended programs and cleared everything. I ran CCleaner recently and cleared everything out.
It has 4gb of RAM, and is currently using only 1.48 is being used. It is using only 30gb of its 447gb harddrive. It has a 2.40gHz processor running at 3% usage.
It mostly says "not responding" when Internet Explorer is running, but it also does it at other times.
Can anyone think of a reason why this might be happening?
In case you tell me to reload the operating system (Windows 7), the disc is not available. Is there a way to do it without the disc?
