- My pc with Intel Core 2 Duo cpu working slower like a pc with Intel Pentium Dual cpu, i have upgraded all my other hardware specs , so i don't know what can i do other things, to get the core 2 duo performance :S

specs :

- Mobo: J&W Intel G33/G31 (upgraded to ASRock G41 Express Chipset)
- Cpu: E5200 (upgraded to E7300)
- Ram: 4GB DDR2 800mhz (upgraded to 4GB DDR3 1333MHz)
- HDD: 250GB 5200RPM (upgraded to 320GB 7200RPM by Hitachi).

-So you can see i have changed all my hardware specs to new one, but it runs in the same speed as before. So in your opinion do you think i must change my PSU which is 450 WATT or what ?

- THANK YOU VERY MUCH IN ADVANCE IF YOU CAN HELP ME WHAT IS THE PROBLEM, AND SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH BECAUSE I FROM ALBANIA :)

Unless you have a massive graphics card in there, the power supply is fine.

Keep in mind that there's a big difference between a "Pentium D" and a "Pentium Dual Core". A Pentium D is two Pentium 4 chips stuck together, while a Pentium Dual Core is a Core 2 Duo with a little less cache. Which do you have? (a model number would be good)

Also, what is the model of the hard drive on the other computer?

edit: Your English is fine, by the way. It's obvious that you're not a native speaker, but your grammar is pretty good. :good:

If you didn't reformat the computer and reinstall windows, you won't see the benefit of your upgrades.
