Why No XFX 8800GT?

NewEgg goes thru video cards fast. For example I was watching the MSI R3650-T2D512 OC Radeon HD 3650 Video Card for about a month (saving money to purchase it). I looked at it this week and found the number they had in stock had dwindled down to about seven. I fortunately ordered one of the last three they had. Now they are all gone and the item has been deactivated.

Dont worry though, the 8800GT was replaced with the 9800GT ;D
 
Newegg probably sold out, and won't be getting another shipment in, since they still have the GTS, GS, 86GT, and the 84GT. And TigerDirect has the XFX 8800GT, but they probably haven't ran out yet, thought the 8800GTS on Newegg says Sold Out.


And the 8800GT and 9800GT are pretty much the same card.
 
are the same card, except stay away from the asus 9800gt ultimate if you want to sli it with one of your current gt's the ultimate is a rebranded 8800gts, but it has a bios flash, but so do all the other cards i know of

Add the wanted merchandise to your shopping cart. Then increase the quantity of the selected item in your shopping cart to 99. It will reveal if there is less than 99 in stock.

They probably sold out and are not getting any more.

Why do you need another XFX? preference?
 
ARGH! I just bought the below video card and NewEgg just got the exact same model in and lowered the price $27.

MSI R3650-T2D512 OC Radeon HD 3650 Video Card - $67

Man that stinks!

Where did u buy the card? If you bought it on the egg, just call them up or email them, they will credit your account.
 
I wasn't looking to buy, I just happened to be in the area, and noticed my cards weren't up, and it was around the time I thought my cards were acting up, but they weren't.

Thanks for the advice Vizy93. I asked NewEgg and they said they would give me a $24 credit on my next purchase. WOO! HOO! I like free money.
