This is something I don't understand.
Let's say, you have a Q6600 and a 8800 GTX.
What's the point for those that overclock the 8800 ? How OCing it would make the game go faster as it probably can't even slow down the game at the first place?
And for the CPU, someone posted about OCing it succesfully to 4ghz. Ok, that's an exception. But let's say you OC it to 3 ghz, from 2.4ghz. You can't really tell the difference right?
But on top of the fact that there is not much difference, you have to RISK, and PAY.
Can someone let me know why you would OC a high-end computer?
