Why Systems Slowing Down

Ive had my laptop for about four months now, and noticed things are taking longer to open, and to do. Even playing solitare, i get blips and pauses.

I haven't really added any program. i keep all my media in a seperate drive.
Everytime i exit IE i disk clean up, delte all browsing history, delete whats in temp folder, and temporary internet folder, I also delte old restore points.

i scanned system for virus, spam, spyware,and updated vista.

What else can be done/ what could be slowing it down. There aren't many programs running either when i checked task manager.
my c drive is 40.6gb of 51.6 gb free and d dirve is 45.0gb of 51.3bg free

It does all the things you mention (in the way of cleanup) and many more, even has a fairly competant registry cleaner. All you have to do is run it. Best of all it's free!
