Why the Jumpy prices?

I looked at the E6850 when it first arrived on Newegg around 1 something, and then at 2:00, and now I get home and the thing has changed $10/hour. $315->$325->$335. What is this all about?

It is normal that when a new product come it would be little expensive. But when the demand increases the price will quickly drop. So, the price should drop in the next couple of days

it appears all the dark blue boxed version are g0 stepping. q6600 on the other hand you will have better luck in a store and look at the last 5 letters of the serial number.
