why will it reboot?

i just posted for overclocking an amd 64 3000+. i can OC my system by 3-5% running around 2.06ghz and at idle, the temp is around 33C and runs fine. but if i run a game, say doom 3, 3dmark, whatever, eventualy my system will just stop running and reboot. if its not overheating then what could be the issue. i am running a 300 watt psu. could that be the issue? what else???

With that small OC you should not need to raise the Vcore at all. Now have you tried SuperPI? If it crashes during that, try mildly increasing the Vcore and then see whether that changes anything. It could be really touchy about its voltage requirements.

Hows the voltage stability

With that small OC you should not need to raise the Vcore at all

Assuming you have a good PSU to start A weak PSU you'll wanna jack the Vcore regardless
