Why would "recent searches" have searches that I never searched

Under "recent searches" on google there was a topic I never searched before. Whats more weird is under that one specific topic were other topics which I did search but about two weeks ago. But I was on google two days prior looking up a medical topic (brusing on leg). So why the mix up. Do I have a virus. Can someone explain this to me. I use my computer for a lot of personal things and it seems odd. I know for a fact I am the only one using this computer.

It sounds like you have adware on your machine run these programs and get back to us

1. Super Antispyware
2. Malware Bytes
3. Adaware

What browser are you using? Google makes "suggestions" in its search bar - based on popular searches I'm assuming - these can be mixed in with things you've actually searched for, IIRC... what browser are you using? It can be disabled if it's bothering you...

If malwarebytes and/or superantispyware cannot resolve your problem, then use combofix

do not use www. combofix .org

Thanks again for the replies. Not to sound dumb but what is adware? Am I getting adware becuase I downloaded pictures, music and videos from the internet? Can somone or this adware "hack" into my computer and use my internet. It seems like its been done because I never googled that topic but it was under recent searches as if it was googled before.

I really wouldn't worry about it if scans using malwarebytes and superantispyware come up with nothing. It's just a search box, maybe you accidentally clicked on something.
