why??

i try to make my PC screen on TV last night
i linked my graphic card (TV out put) to the TV!
it works but PC hanged at the moment it get into window!
it can works smoothly in Bios!
why this happened?
the graphic card is asus G-force 4 mx440 and the Tv is sony flat 36 in

Never tried hooking up my computer to a tv screen b4 but perhaps It could be the driver.. Have you tried a different driver?

Ya I was assuming he had it enabled because he said it works but froze... I guess I should stop assuming things eh? hehe.

It works during the POST, but it hangs when Windows is booting up. So it's definitely a driver issue...

thanks for all your advices
i didnt enabled the mode but just adjusted the resolution !!(1024x768-hi colour- 60Hz)
it works!! really work and pretty smooth!! i also tried to play game and it's simply great!
Now!! another problem comes!!
no sound!!
are there any special cable to transfer the sound to the Tv cause i can just heard the sound by using the onboard sound card !
any special cable??

You'll need a separate cable to connect the audio card's audio-out with the TV-set's audio-in.
What connectors do you have on your tv-set?

what do u mean by separate cable??
and how to identify the TV-connectors??
what i know is it is white colours and the hole is a bit bigger than a normal sound card has!

But are you sure that the audio-in on the tv-set has these connectors?
Tell me the tv-set's model no. exactly to check it out.
