wich is better cpu

i have simular post in general but anyways...

as you can see in my tag u can see wich cpu i have

question is... intel recently came out with pentium d 920 preslor

its stats are... 2.8ghrz W/ht DUAL CORE 2.8ghrz 2x 2mb l2 cach 65nm process type 800mhrz fsb

now since its a dual core with HT as well.. would it make it better then my cpu even though its 200 mhrz slower....what made me wonder this is because its 100 dollars less

basicly my question is... i do have the money to buy it IF it is truly better then my smithfield 830

I would think that its better, since its 4 logical processors. But if you already have the smithfield, then i wouldnt upgrade to that since its not worth it.
 
alright, thas all i needed to kno, + i left you a message about the laptop ill mor then likely go through you once we figure everything out
 
oh well i went ahead and orderd the 920 lol... im building a pc for my cousin and he said he would like the 830 so since its new pretty much he is paying me 300 for it
