Wich Video Card?

Does it really have to be 256 MB, on cheap video cards (low end) that have 256 MB the memory is slow, you can get a better performing card with 128 MB for around $50, take a look at ATI Radeon 9550.

i dont get it, how would a card with more mb be slower? and if a low mb card and a high mb card cost the same, why would i get the less mb card? i dont rly understand wat u mean. sorry,

ttyl8s

and i need better graphic card for gaming and such...

whats he is suggesting (i think) is due to the budget constraint you might find a better chipset with a lower memory

for instance....a radeon 9550 128mb costing $50, would be better than a Radeon 9200 256mb costing $50 (prices are for the example only i know they are not really the costs)

The budget is the constriction in this instance, $50 aint a lot

cause there are so much more to a card than memory...such as core speed, mem, speed, pixel pipelines and a whole lot more that I'm too lazy to list out. Read Video Card 101 to get the whole picture.

so a 128 is BETTER then a 256? but wat about those games that need a 256 card? a 128 card wouldnt work would it?

^,..,^

thanx so far guys!
