greetings
I am not much on the technical aspect of computers, so forgive me
I just bought a view sonic optiquest Q19wb 19" lcd widescreen monitor to replace an old, box screen. I was told that it would jive with my PC running windows xp, which would be nice because the extra length would be nice for music and photo editing when I'm using this instead of my mac. however, the reccomended resolution (1400 x 900) is not an option on my computer I found out. even more, there is no widescreen sizing at all. is there a driver I can download to correct this, or should I return it while I can and settle for a standard lcd screen?
thanks for all help
