Most definitely widescreen.

Such a better aspect ratio. I find it far easier for everyday function like word processing or internet browsing, MUCH better for gaming, and it provides the dual functionality of being substantially more ideal for watching movies and shows on.

Normal screen, i will use widescreen with program such as ArcView GIS cause it's display is garbish and small on a regular, but apart from that im a regular.
don't like wide screen at all

im using a normal screen. but i reckon i would just prefer a widescreen. they feel look awesome when gaming. i love it.

I prefer a widescreen overall because it makes movies and gaming so much more lifelike... it is just more natural to lok at... that being said, I find the fullscreen easier to work with when using MS word and other similar applications

WS is also better because you are able to fit more on such as when movie editing in Adobe prmiere or other programs, on a fullscreen, it is difficult to fit all of those toolboxes on the screen without the need for dual monitoring

i always used normal until i got a widescreen and will never revert. you just have more room, period.

I've got a normal 19" but I think a larger widescreen next as I could put a sidebar on it and this would squash the ratio back to normal:)

Does that make sense?

I always used to use normal, but I got a widescreen for Christmas and will never go back. You have so much more room. I can have winamp and firefox set up side by side. Or when I'm writing papers for school I can have the internet and the word processor running side by side, which is easier and more efficient than flipping back and forth between the two. Games and movies are simply amazing on it.

Fullscreen for me. Widescreens are fine for tv's since all films seem to be widescreen these days, but it seems pointless for computing. I've just bought a 24¨ widescreen, and I'm struggling to see the point. It has no more height than my 17¨ screen I've had for years, why? Just don't get it...

Widescreen.

Why: Pretty much same price. Larger view and IMO just better.

Also, I heard that you could earn a bit more FPS...

even though it may be the same height as your full screen it has a much much greater amount of deskspace. Widescreen is becoming the industry standard, why try and use standard when most applications provide an easier work environment in widescreen?
