widescreen or standard

think of it like this... 16:9 (widesreen) was developed to that size as it is the natural way we see. It has more room available, yet costs a lot more.. Widescreen is better, but is it worth it to you?

mind for the price of two of those 19" monitors, i could buy one of these:

Which do you think is the better option? duel 19", or one 20"? Im guessing there would be more screen/desktop space with two 19"

A widescreen is not as tall as a conventional monitor. A 20" widescreen is about as tall as a 17", but wider than a 19".

widescreen 22" LCD (1680 x 1050) and I love it.

That's not 22", that's 20.1". Same as I have.
