Widescreen Resolutions

Does anyone have a simple list of widescreen resolutions?

Ive looked everywhere, but I cant seem to find just a simple list of what resolutions are widescreen and what are square???

every resolution will go widescreen, you need to have a widescreen screen

Its more to do with wallpapers. Some just look horrible cause they are square.

Yeah im after the list so I can do that and/or decided what ones to download.

uumm.. you want around 640 x 800 for a square one.

The ratios used are 16:9 and 16:10, with 16:9 used mostly on TV's and 16:10 on LCD monitors. It's easy to calculate more resolutions.
Here are the some examples:
1920x1200 - 16:10 ratio
1680x1050 - 16:10 ratio
1280x800 - 16:10 ratio
1280x720 - 16:9 ratio

I personally use 1280x768. That way, my desktop on my second monitor (17" CRT) fits better.
