I have 16:10 monitor, yet when I watch WS format movies, I still have the black bars on top and bottom, shouldn't the video fill the screen?

Depends what aspect ratio the movie is. Is the black bar there, but not as much as there is with a full screen monitor?

I know with my 16:10 widescreen monitor, theres still an inch or two on the top and bottom of some movies, but with my 4:3 monitor, theres around 3-4 inches.
