Wierd wireless problem

Hi,

We have a trolley full of wireless laptops that get moved around the building to different rooms. The wireless laptops connect to a wireless access point which is connected to a switch. From the switch there is the cable that plugs into the network poing, a cable for the printer. In each rooms are network points that the trolley gets plugged into. There are two rooms that are next to each other around the school and these two rooms are the only rooms that will not see the wireless access point. All the other rooms in the building can.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Are you talking about seeing the access point when the laptops have a direct line to the switch, or are you saying that they're losing wireless connectivity?

The wireless is in the same room. You even put it right next to it and it still can not pic it up. When you go on scan for wireless devices it can't find any. Any help? Work anywhere else bar those two rooms.

Thanks.

could be an issue with the access points in those rooms? maybe they were configured incorrectly from the rest of them. im not sure.

This kind of problem is hard to solve without being there, but do you have wireless certificates installed that are needed to connect? And, is there a possibility that the switch is actually a hub?
