How would I get wifi anywhere on a laptop?

I have a T Mobile Dash. I heard that, that can work.

Or could I get something like verizon or sprint, though I have T Mobile.

I'm not sure what you mean, WiFi only works within a limited range of the router or AP.

Sounds like your talking about the wireless broadband that Verizon and Sprint offers. You need to buy a card from them for usually under $100 with a 2-year service, and a plan of $40-$50 a month.
 
i dont think u know what ur talking about :D

wifi is only avaliable through hotspots and networks and such

but wireless internet is available through verizon,sprint or whatever.... they use the 3G, EVDO, or EDGE network and they can get you internet mostly anywhere... it just depends on how much ur willing to pay...

i dont know it this is a joke or not, cause you have over 4000 posts and a dual booting rig with 3 hdds, and yet you seem quite clueless... anyhow i will humor you.
wifi and cellular internet are two entirely deferent things. wifi is used to wirelessly connect a wifi equipped computer to a wifi router, which may or may not connected to the internet. cellular wireless internet is provided through cell phone towers and requires a monthly subscription. cell-internet is pretty much hella slow compared to dsl, but it covers a broader area.
