Hello
I currently have a seriously annoying problem and was wondering whether you guys or girls could give me a had.
I was at my university not long ago, and suddenly the internet cut off, and the different networks that were available started to disappear, until none remained.
However when I restarted the computer everything would work again, until the phenomena reoccurred (2minutes to 2 hours later, it happens whenever it feels like it).
I checked the wireless card through the control panel and everything is working fine, so I deactivated the "allow windows to deactivate this to save on power" and it changed nothing
So then I thought it was the universities rotter, so I decided to wait until I had returned to my parents house. Everything worked for a while, but the it came back. And I'm in Salamanca (Spain) on a COMPLETELY different network but it still happens.
I have bought avast internet security which never shows any pop ups before my problem occurs. I have also completely scanned my computer with avast and Malbyteware and nothing. Avast protect me from websites that are potentially dangerous and the only thing that popped up in the last year was a pop up warning me of a site on which I was streaming Friends (popular sitcom).
I am open to any suggestions anyone can make so don't hesitate
Thanks very much for your help
